Our Story
Sutton Parivaar CIC was founded by a group of Hindu and Indian families living in and around Royal Sutton Coldfield who saw a gap: a need for a rooted, authentically Dharmic community organisation — not a social club, but a parivaar (family) committed to genuine sewa, cultural continuity, and the wellbeing of the next generation.
We began by gathering families for Dharmic Sangams — monthly community meetings grounded in Sanatan Dharma values — and quickly grew to establish a Youth Development Programme for children and young people aged 8 to 18. Our Dussehra Mela became the first celebration of its kind in the West Midlands, drawing over 1,000 attendees.
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC), meaning we are legally constituted to serve our community. Every penny of income is reinvested into community programmes. Our activities, partners, and funding are publicly verifiable.

Sutton Parivaar CIC actively supports both registered and unregistered groups that promote Dharmic values, yoga, Indian culture, and community cohesion across Sutton Coldfield and the wider region.
Support takes two forms:
- Volunteer Assistance — our members help groups run sessions, events, and community activities, bringing hands-on support where it is needed most.
- Financial Assistance — within our charitable remit, we can provide grants and contributions to eligible groups working towards shared community goals.
